Not For A Minute

I thought I was forsaken.

I thought there were moments of my life that I walked where Jesus wasn't with me.

I thought there were times where He didn't have my back.

I thought I had to face hard things on my own, without Him.

But God.

He spoke to my depths and echoed this deep truth:

"Not for a minute, were you forsaken."

He put a song on my lips as an anthem of truth.

An anthem which said that even when I felt like I was alone, I wasn't. Even when I felt forsaken, I wasn't. Even when I felt like He wasn't there, He was. Even when I felt like He could care less, He knew everything I was feeling in that moment.

This truth defeats the previous lie and says, "Even when _________, He was always there."

Our God is very much alive and working even when we can't see it.

Right now is a time to believe that He is near! To believe that He is with us. To believe in His sovereignty, His power, and His love.

If you believe you've been forsaken, look up and cry out to Him. Let Him speak to the most broken parts of you. Let Him touch and let Him heal. Let Him restore your view of Himself.

Now I see. I see His faithfulness. I see that He never left my side. I see that He was walking with me all this time.

"I am with you always, even to the end of the age." -Jesus, Matthew 28:20
