Love Letter

My only love, how great are Your thoughts about me, how wonderful are Your deeds. You are amazing and wonderful, indescribable and unfathomable. You are my satisfaction. You are my true joy. I cannot express with human words the depths of Your love. Everyday You talk to me and I with You. You soothe me with words of blessing. The thanks You deserve is bigger than I can give. You have used Your time to comfort me when I'm sad and rejoice with me when I am joyful. Throughout the past, You have shown Your faithfulness to me when I didn't deserve it. You have shown me pictures of Your wonder and glory in ways no man can. Thank You for Your unfailing love and kindness. Thank You for Your words of healing. Thank You for Your peace, Your joy, Your love, and Your hope. Thank You for always comforting me, for always protecting me, and ALWAYS loving me. You have written a huge love letter to me which I read everyday. This letter of mine is a mere sliver of love that I owe to You. Thank You for Your passion in pursuing me and never giving up on me when I turn away from You. Thank You for granting my requests and never failing to supply me with all that I need.  You are my King and You have saved me from many troubles. When my loyalty is divided, You guide me back to Yourself. You have defeated all my enemies. You are my best friend. I can always count on You to brighten my day. Love, You mean the world to me. You are wonderful and all-loving. You love me with a love that will never perish. You love me more than You love Yourself. You knew You would love me no matter what. Yet even in all this, even though You loved me unconditionally, faithfully, and passionately, I killed You. Even though there was nothing else You gave more time, attention, and love to, I killed You and You died. Your death was not quick and simple. It was terrible and gruesome. You died deserving royalty and majesty. Instead you received mockery and cruelty. You were whipped, pierced, and hung. You died a criminal's death. I did this to You. Amidst all this, three days later You were raised to life through Your power. I beat You, mocked You, spit on You, struck You, and hung You from a cross. You still loved me and You forgave me. You knew I was to kill You, for You are omniscient. You knew this was to happen yet You did nothing to stop it. For through Your death I could have life. I could live with You forever and experience eternal love and glory for myself. I could experience true joy, peace, and love through You but I had to repent. Through Your great grace You have revealed Yourself to Me, and I have given my life to You. I live for You now.  What amazing grace. What love that You would die for me when I killed You. What love that You would forgive me when I beat You to the bone. What love that You would give me eternal life in heaven with You when I deserve hell. If not for the cross I would be subject to hell. For Your grace is beyond comprehension. What great glory and majesty and honor are due to Your great name!  May Your name be glorified. May men and women, throughout this earth, declare their love for You. At the utterance of Your name evil spirits die and angels rejoice and tremble in awe of Your goodness. Love, You are the only reason for the hope that I have. You are the reason that I sing. You are the reason I live. You are the reason why I love. You are the reason I have faith. You are the reason I have hope. You are the reason that I dance. You are the reason that I speak. You are the reason that I walk. You are the reason that I have all I need.

You have given my hope when I had none. You have danced with me in the morning sun. You are always there when I need love and care. You listen to me through my prayers. My Love, You will always and forever be, my Savior, Lord, Redeemer, and King. Thank You for Your love. Jesus, I love You.
